When de fox can’t get de grape

It got a old time sayin that talk bout when de fox can’t get de grape he does seh it sour. And that is how tings does play out in life today, because it got plenty fox around de place who can’t get de grape no matter whah dem try. And dem does end up sayin de grapes sour. But it is usually not that de grapes sour, is just that some of de foxes can’t get dem.

It also got some people who does try all day long and all night long to get de grape and still can’t get de grape. And it got some people who mouth long like de fox, but dem also still can’t get de grape. Other people does come and tek de grape right in front of dem face.

One man who was gettin de grape and then he suddenly stop gettin de grape decide to tek matters into he own hands in Sophia. De only problem was that, when he try to find de man who was pickin he grapes from he own back yard, he find de wrang man. But he still end up firin de wrang gun and shootin de wrang man.  Now none of dem can’t get any more grape. So de man who was tekkin all de grape all de time gon get more grape now.

According to de mud paper man, nutten whah dis guvament do ain’t good. Now, just like de fox, he cussin every ting and every body and seh dem sour. From de Amaila Falls project to de Marriott Hotel to the airport expansion project to de Specialty Hospital…nutten ain’t good fuh he.  Is no wonder someone body else eatin out de mud paper man grapes pun Regent Street.

Ting-a-ling-a-ling…friend tell friend…mattie tell mattie! It look like de mud paper man gon can’t get grapes fuh a long time to come. So look out fuh de fox all over because he gettin desperate fuh grapes whah he can’t get!

The Guyanese people know that there is a bitter fight for power in Guyana.

The reality is it's either PPP or PNC. No third force can run things the way they promised if they work with the PNC. We know the PNC is unrelenting and dominant in its relationship with other parties. The PPP can be a little difficult but certainly not unrelenting and dominant. They  always make concessions and sometimes too much to the detriment of the party of its supporters.

Mit while the AFC did indeed bring a lot of things to the table and exposed the treachery of the PPP.  They failed to live up to their own high standards.

The AFC clearly faltered and gave way to money over principles. The Hughes fiasco has damaged the core of the AFC and many of their supporters have been rendered hopeless and now cynical by the leaders of the AFC who continue to push their heads into the sand and pretend that nothing is wrong.

They have now seemingly even gone on the attack against those persons who I gather were their supporters. That is the same kind of behavior you see from Jagdeo and the PPP.

So what exactly is different, new about the AFC? how is this change? this is not change this is more of the same crap. The AFC will learn a very very hard lesson which APNU seems to have learnt from (linden debacle).
