Where did the Swami insult Blacks? Read his letters. He was responding to the attacks on Indians by those, like yourself maybe??, who supported the PPP because they saw the PPP, despite its track record, as the vehicle for their salvation. He was quite clear in his remarks.

APNU AFC campaigned on the basis of national unity.  At NO point was there a demand by an prominent African that Africans should vote race. 

So why the swami's response?

The swami screamed race.  Indians must vote Indians.  Not on issues but on race.  So clearly in a racially divided society Indians must vote to KEEP OUT blacks.  Not on issues or their assumptions as to which party can be expected to deliver a better Guyana.
