Party Paramountcy is here again!
Yesterday, the PNC held a special congress to celebrate its 60th Anniversary. This was a Party not a Government activity. The venue was the National Cultural Center, a State -owned facility. All the facilities and amenities of that institution were utilized . The place was expensively decorated. Not cent was paid by the PNC for the use of the same.
There were lavish food and drinks for everyone. Again, not a cent paid by the PNC for the same.
Persons were flown into Georgetown from all over the country and from overseas to attend. Not a cent was paid by the PNC.
Everything was paid for by the taxpayers
All these expenses are going to be passed off as expenditures of the Investiture Ceremony which took place the day before. The proximate cost is about 10$million.
Public servants and Army Officers were forced attend.
The National Treasury has once again become the piggy bank of the PNC.
Of course, it is open to the PNC to prove me wrong on any of the above.
