PPP/C condemns Molotov attacks on homes of officials

The People’s Progressive Party/Civic says it is perturbed by the recent attacks on the homes of leading party and government officials.

It said that the latest was the discovery of a Molotov cocktail (channa-bomb) this morning in the yard of PPP/C stalwart,  Philomena Sahoye-Shury who resides at Sheriff and Canje Streets, Section K Campbellville.

The party said this follows a similar attack on the home of PPP/C government official,  Odinga Lumumba on Monday, December 05, 2011.

“Today’s incident is the third such attack on Ms. Shury for this year with the first being in January. The PPP/C vehemently condemns these violent acts of terrorism perpetrated on its members”, the party said.
