Well, when it comes to that level, it will require careful consideration of only pertinent information.

1. It is doubtful that a situation like that would occur on GNI.

2. Administrator(s) do have options to address issues.

3. If there are a few short comings - and that can happen occasionally to any Moderator or Administrator - the management would address the issues with the individual(s)

As stated on a previous thread, I was the Chief Administrator of a site that has over 10,000 members. Of note; no one has multiple usernames, for even the members take great exceptions and discomfort when a member is discovered on a few occasions.

Administrators perform quite well on GNI.

D_G, in all seriousness, RiffRaff is a good moderator. I need to take this challenge to see the response I am getting. This board has been moderated by different moderators. Sunil was excellent. RiffRaff is getting there, but I still question his ability on neutrality. Jalil suspension should not be made public. I believe the moderator need not say who and when someone is suspended. No one has the right to question to the moderator either. RiffRaff will NOT get a medal of honor when he suspend someone if you get my driff.

1. Administrators have the right; and it is good practice; to state when some one is suspended.

2. One may ask pertinent questions; not prolonged babbling; but the Administrator's decision is final.

3. Agreed that Raymond is performing in an excellent manner.

4. As Raymond do express his personal views - and rightly so - an option may be that he could differentiate his personal views from Administrator's functions.

Guys the  Political Forum has no moderators anymore, they are Admins which is above the moderator status.

And I thank them for the superb job they are doing. I am not spending much time on the Forums as before and Raymond and Sunil are to be congratulated on the way they are handling things. I think Sunil is laying back and let Raymond carry the big stick.

Amral, I thing moderator's should be given a one year term and consider other members of the forum to be moderators on a an election basis. Just my opinion. This has nothing to do with RiffRaff performances.
