[www.inewsguyana.com] – Thirty – year – old Haun Hua Kang is nursing a gunshot wound to his left thigh after bandit stormed his supermarket at Vryheid’s Lust Railway Embankment, East Coast Demerara on Saturday night (August 08).

According to a police report, at approximately 20:30 hrs, two men armed with firearms entered the Wisdom Supermarket at Vryheid’s Lust and held up the businessman and demanded cash.

The businessman resisted and was shot to his left thigh after which the men took away $100,000 from a cash register and escaped. He has been admitted to hospital as the investigations continue.
