That little raise must be from Guyanese  in G/twn?  Stop lying,  as they don't use that Guyanese type terminology.

No way you are going to walk up to anybody in a high crime islands like St Thomas and ask them where they come from.  There is no way a coward like you who is terrified of blacks is going to go into that back part of Charlotte Amalie where one MIGHT see conditions like that, and I doubt it because I know several years ago they cleaned up the area.  What one will more likely see are neatly constructed but small chattel houses, may be in need of paint.  But not shacks with outdoor latrines used by the entire neighborhood.

I have cousins who live in St Thomas.  Aside from an area behind Charlotte Amalie, where the most recent immigrants live until they can do better St T isn't an island with shanty towns.  The poor areas (and high crime areas) are where the housing projects are.  That's where the locals who are poor live.

Here is the deal.  The only English speaking Caribbean countries where large numbers of people still use PUBLIC latrines are Guyana, Jamaica, Dominica and St Vincent.  So please don't tell me some one is going to leave St K, Antigua, St L or any one of those other islands to squat over a latrine used by at least 20 other people.

Carib, there are a quite a few West Indians working at the airport. Also there are a lot of them working at the Depart of Human Services.

Charlotte Amalie is where a lot of welfare recipients live.
