The May 11th election couldn't have come sooner for a bunch of ignoramus who wanted exchange and unfilled promise from the coalition incompetents who disappointed them eighteen months later. Some of us are not fortune tellers, or super-intelligent in politics, but we go with our gut feeling not to go swimming in alligator's infested waters. Once bitten, twice shy, is a warning you must put into practice for survival. Unfortunately, our highly intelligent brothers took a different path and fell preys to the reptilian predators. As the story goes, Guyana is once again in the belly of the beast.
During this short bitter-sweet moment, I was amazed how many Indians turned a blind eye and bear false witness to protect a monster who will later use and abused them to his advantage. We all see how Guyana began to deteriorate from that bewitching day of May 11th. The spiral decay never stops, and it may never ceased from collapsing day after day, until an entire race of people is exterminated.
It goes further when traitorous Indians started to renounce their heritage and cultural identity to show loyalty to their super-hero, Granger. Khemraj Ramjattan put a scorch on Guyana by showing the PNC; he can be blacker than black to set the country on fire and stop the government from functioning. Moses Nagamootoo renounced his racial identity in public, and confessed on Granger's behalf, that he (Granger), will never rig election again. Here on GNI, the Indians who switch sides, argued furiously to defend and protect the monster they hoped to run away from today. To top it off, our hero's legacy is hopeless and homeless as we speak.
Thanks to our intelligent brothers who sold us back into slavery. They say, your enemies come from within, and if you don't earn something, it would never last. So, where do we go from here?
