  • Its political organization is Politburo style - the Executive Committee and Central Committee are "voted" on in an undemocratic manner. This leads to a clique beholden to a "leader" with an autocratic style who dishes out patronage for loyalty.
  • There is a lack of transparency in decision-making thus stifling ideas and bright minds.
  • It is a Marxist-Lenninist party - to use the words of Shaitaan on another thread: unrepentant Marxist and Jaganite.
  • It is a party that has not laid out a vision of how Guyana can build a more value-added economy with more skilled worker participation. After 23 years Guyana still has the same fundamental economic structure
  • It is a party that is yet to show how it can incorporate the races in the structures of Guyana's society where they have deficits - Blacks in small businesses and Indians in the security forces.

Government cannot resolve those problems.  Guyana needs to develop a strong civic society which will develop solutions.

I refer to this in another thread - Fix the politics and you fix investment and economic growth, and APNU/AFC is in a different world from the PPP.

O STFU chap.

You want me to believe that you don't believe in the cultivation of a Black entrepreneurial class in Guyana?

You just don't want your bukta exposed by having to disagree with Kari's point about the security forces.

Just be honest and say you want the economy racially diversified (I agree) while keeping the security forces 90% dominated by your race just to guarantee Indian "good behavior."

Kari is too much of an idealist to see you and your gang for what it truly is. I do!

Also this from that same other thread - Bring the races together and the potential of the people can be better realized. APNU/AFC can do this. The PPP/C cannot bring the races together and in fact feeds on racial fear that it is stoking at the altar of keeping power to prevent investigations and prosecutions after they leave office.

If you can tell me the Coalition will balance the forces as you suggest and get Caribj to agree, I will send you a $ 1,000 check for the Coalition.

Kari,

What expertise or mechanism does the APNU have to bring the races together

So gov't hands out cash to black people whether or not they are capable and puts a gun to the heads of Indians and tells them join the army or else.  Yes Granger forcing Indians to join the GDF.  I already hear your shrill wails.

Initiatives fostered by the private sector will do way more to help broaden the base of entrepreneurship than gov't playing patronage games.

This is how you get non traditional people who don't come from a culture of business ownership involved.

The PPP didn't balance the forces and so why think that the Coalition can?

If Indians don't wish to join, in a democratic society you CANNOT FORCE them!

Kari has joined Carl Greenidge in becoming Guyana's biggest Jackass. He will disgrace himself on the Morning of May 12th.

PNC can change their name but they still remain the same old racist and dirty PNC.

STATEMENT TO THE MEDIA

Dear Editors: ...  KING LIARS: LIE, YOU HEAR LIES?

LIE NO. 3:

Bharrat Jagdeo and Donald Ramotar said I left PPP because I lost nomination as presidential candidate.

More Lies! I withdrew from the rigged process where party members were excluded from choosing a candidate.

Ramotar was hand-picked by a gang within the Central Committee. I refused to appear before this body. I informed Ramotar on 18th January, 2011 that “the CC has no mandate to select a candidate.

I now say emphatically that the exclusion of party members in selecting their presidential candidate is an irreversible and costly mistake”.

There was no election.

Only a rigged selection.
