Why did Rohee's first wife kill herself in 1991? She was the mother of two teenaged daughters at that time. What was so compelling for her to choose death instead of Rohee? No one runs away from good.

I know something, Don. I was working at the Mirror editorial office that morning we got the sad news. Certain things were said in the presence of Janet Jagan. Dr Motilall dropped in with his "Mirror Doctor" script for the week and he joined the conversation and offered his bit too. Later on, details were forthcoming by other comrades. I attended Rohee's wife's funeral service at Lee's Funeral Parlour. Rohee's two young daughters were there looking at their mother in the coffin. They were not the ones who drove her to suicide.

Clement Rohee is a public figure. He was a contestant for the PPP presidential candidate's position in 2011. He is the PPP General Secretary or de jure leader.

If Conscience and Rohee's PPP want pre-1992 to be an issue in the 2015 general elections, fine. We can begin with Rohee.
