A few weeks, Americans were against each other, they were fighting about whose life matters etc. Which statue needs to be removed and all the other uprisings.
When the disaster came, they did not care who rescued them, whether you were black, Hispanic, Muslim, Jew,or gay or lesbian, they were just glad to be rescued.
It will be interesting to see what happens afterwards now.

Not so long ago, folks like Cruz didn't want to give government help to victims in New York and New Jersey. It will be interesting to see how he feels about government help now.
