The Full Court this morning disagreed with APNU when it ruled that it has no jurisdiction to hear an appeal on whether that party's leader who is also Opposition Leader should be party to the State’s case on whether the opposition can cut the National Budget.

Accompanied by Justice Rishi Persaud, Justice James Bovell-Drakes read the estimated five-minute long ruling that in effect states that the Full Court is “without jurisdiction to hear the appeal.” He said the appeal filed by Basil Williams to the Full Court was “misconceived” and could not be entertained.

Williams challenged the Chief Justice Ian Chang's decision to dismiss the Opposition Leader, as well as Finance Minister Dr. Ashni Singh on the grounds that as Members of Parliament (MPs), the constitution provides them with immunity, from the case in which the opposition's cuts to the 2012 budget is being challenged.

In the event of any snap elections the joint opposition would lose their "one" seat majority, they hold so dearly, the P.P.P/C has recovered from incumbency syndrome, and has reconnected to the grass root supporters, thus they are in the best stance to secure a majority.

Vishnu Bisram wrote an article about the lost of the PPP grass root supporters. Since then, Rohee said that Vishnu don't understand the PPP ideology. So, Vishnu became the last to get booted by the PPP. I myself don't understand the PPP ideology, but is seem like it is to boot people out when they question the PPP's decision. Is this how they intend to win election?

The PPP/C suffered incumbency fatigue going into the 2011 elections, after the results were announce, the party had recognized that they needed to greater forge the bond of the grass roots supporters, its has been over two years and steps in that direction had been taken.
