Does Samuels realize that the 5 billion  barrels of oil belong to Exxon and not to Guyana?  The 2% Royalty is real and Guyana has to pay back Exxon hundreds of millions of dollars in exploration costs which will be a front end payment expected to last at least 5-7 years.  And I’m sure they will find a way to add on this fee and that fee and claim nonpayment and next thing you know all abbey dead and gone and Guyana still paying Exxon.

Furthermore, all natural gas will belong to the GOG. Exxon has no interest in this.  Some will be piped, some processed into LNG using special ships.  Some will be exported, some used for domestic power gen.

I heard plans are in place to rig and give Shuman 5 seats. If this happens would Shuman refuse those seats and join the PPP in protesting?

In Guyana's PPP/PNC political tapestry complication caused by Shuman is good.

Shuman is a good addition.  We always say 3rd party needed however, it’s always a Black or Indian.  And the division continues.  When Trotman was Presidential candidate for the AFC, they pulled Afro votes.  When Ramjattan and Nagamootoo headed the ticket, they pulled Indians.  The Afros left.

Keep on dreaming.  Exxon is struggling for survival.  Stock price is more than 10% down from a year ago.  Even the Guyana hype in the news didn’t help them.  They need every cent to pay their investors and shareholders.  Guyana will end up with their begging bowl once again.

But we should note that your relatives are pnc people. 

Historically  the PPP was known as  a Hindustan Party, just look at their leaders way back.  Fronting Irfan Ali as the president will bring all the Black Muslims and cross over Indian Muslims. Generally Muslims are loyal to them Mattie. A relative just return after spending three weeks. Tension is high with lots of uncertainty,  but people of all races lost trust of the ruling government  and when comparing to the PPP term they enjoyed prosperity.  The hoped for change but saw nothing,  closing the sugar Estates also hurt Blacks, Harmon was chased out from Wales.

There aren't enough Muslims to tip the scale in the PPP favor. Plus Ali will be too busy in court with all those 19 charges so he would be as absent as Granger has been these past 4 years. Nandlall should have been elected to the be Presidential candidate because he is duly qualified as well as strong willed.

Ali only right for that position in he, Samuels and Jagdeo's head. There are a lot of better candidates in the PPP for the PPP Presidential Candidate position. Perhaps the only thing he may have going for him is Granger has proven to be very wicked.
