Depends what happened between then and now. Did the land change title legally? This is a land court matter.

Title was given to people under prescriptive rights. This is another contention between Afro and Indo Guyanese. The land is claimed by Lincoln Lewis as one of the heirs. Nanda Baba says the land is State Land.
If Lewis is right then he should be given back his ancestral lands and the people should be given other lands.

If Nanda Baba is right, Lewis does not stand a chance.
Fortunately for him he will have his date in court to prove his case. Until then it belongs to the people currently occupying it.

What does it have to do with Indians and Afros? Youâre warped.

That's the current battle ,not to be swept under the rug.

Thatâs not the battle. You creating that to suit your warped agenda. Let the claimants deal with the courts. Nothing to do with Indians.
Why wasnât it sorted out under Burnham? Lots of time there.

So what's the battle ? explain some more, will they be send back at the rear of the bus ?

There is no battle. Let the matter be settled in the land court. Not an Indian/Afro thing. I still donât understand, under the first PNC tenure, why was it not resolved?
The PNC has been sent to the back of the bus. Figure of speech. Go figure.
Guyana needs to digitize all public records, I believe they started it under the previous PPP government but I don know if they are finished. Those papers documents look terrible.

I think your recent attempt to inject race into every argument/transaction is very dangerous. It goes against Granger's dream of social cohesion. There are courts in Guyana and for the past 5 years the government was controlled by a party which Lewis was very comfortable with and he should have tried to resolve the matter then instead of going Rambo now totally bypassing the courts.

Get to the facts of the story . Granger may have dreams of cohesion ,the questions are do PPP clan have such dreams . Take a look at recent actions by Nanda Baba ,regarding the vacant land.
There are serious race issue in Guyana ,it's getting to a boiling point.

Seems it goes back to the 1850s. Why was in not addressed decades ago? What the PNC is doing is creating conditions for disputes and conflicts and inject race. Their foot soldiers are in lock step.
None of it will work and this will further galvanized anti-PNC sentiments for a long time. I donât see them being returned to power for a generation.
Good thing PNC lost.

The modus operandi are demoralizing ,hence statements of going back of the bus ,everyone knows the meaning ,also there are other coinage of words that are masked. Some members using the forum, to carry out the tactics .will it work ,we shall find out.

My point is that as Admin of this forum it is dangerous for you to inject race into every topic. You should be above that. If anything that should be left to us commoners.
How can race issues get to a boiling point in just a few weeks when you didn't see a race issue when after the Coalition took over nearly 70% of the government were represented by blacks when just about 30% of the population of Guyana was black. I didn't remember you having a problem with that configuration then.

What's dangerous is the propagation of hate and attacks on a section of the population by some members of the forum .The same is happening in the country.
For information revisiting needed when the Coalition came to power ,how many persons was relieved of their positions. Each major political party are guilty of the same ,with the make up of government . Bear in mind the difference between the two major ethnic group is 10 % .

Valid point.
Django more black than black itself. He overcompensating to fit it.
regarding the thread topic, there was a famous hilarious saying growing up in Guyana: Kingelly Bran Chester Rass. these were 4 adjacent villages we passed on the way from New Amsterdam to G'town. just some Sunday humor on this fight day

In the Country choose to make my home ,it's considered to be in the category of Black .I have no problem ,I am respected and can attain any thing wanted to be. I enjoy my status as minority .Everything acquired was with the assistance of the majority ,I can call them up any time when help is needed ,they get in to action immediately.

What does all that have to do with promoting racism in Guyana against your own kind?
You remind me of religious converts. Dem more fanatical than the high priest.

Where do you see such ? racism is on both side of the fence and need to be rooted out.
There is nothing in my post that makes one fanatical ,it's facts . I enjoy the life in my neck of the woods ,there are no Guyanese enclaves.

And look how you sporting Antonette, the photo of a black woman. How did you get up into her body?

Funny that you don't realize that you are guilty of propagation of hate just by your incendiary comments.
If you feel that every political party is guilty of the same why are you only now crying when you didn't the past five years?
I repeat, your recent injection of race into every thread is dangerous and unbecoming as the Admin of the forum.

It's bullying by the rich against the poor guys. Let the farmers make a living.
Granger is stirring up the blacks to start trouble showing them that they are being disenfranchised. He is setting up the stage for violence against the Indians.
