If the two largest political party top dogs are living an opulent lifestyle far divorced from their income levels, then the Guyanese people want it that way - that's why they voted them the two largest parties. Let the Guyanese voters live with that, or else do not vote for either of the two parties come next elections.
Voting in Guyana has always been driven by fear of the other party. Remove this fear and you'll see different results. It's now incumbent on AFC strategists to let the voting population know that a vote for AFC does not mean the Indian party wins (because you take away black vote from APNU), or the Black party wins (because you take away Indian votes from the PPP/C). Drive that point home, the oligarchic lifestyle, and how the AFC can fix the nation's problems. Balance bashing te other parties with these two other strategic aims. And go after the right markets with the right message (for example - Essequibo with land reforms, rice cultivation economics, including raw material pricing and irrigation infrastructure). And send the right people to talk. Emulate the Obama ground game, with laser-like political marketing.
