Members of the Rights of the Child Commission (ROC) paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Moses Nagamootoo today

The Commission discussed with the Prime Minister ways in which the Government can assist in helping with some of their initiatives, as well as to consider recommendations for legislations put forth by the Commission.

Prime Minister Nagamootoo indicated that the Government can benefit from the Commission being an active ‘watchdog’ for the rights of the child.
