Vijay Varma, an Inspector of the Criminal Investigation Department, Mumbai and Ravi, a brilliant criminal lawyer are childhood friends but their friendship falls prey to the evil machinations of Daga. Daga's smuggling operation has been busted time and again by Vijay?and in one such raid he apprehends?Daga's lieutenant Balwant. Daga hires Ravi to get Balwant acquitted.
