I had a chowki in the early 80’s also used on the other side as cutting board. Mid 80’s someone gifted me a large round wooden thing that turned on its base…schupidy coolie gyal had no clue it was a lazy Susan so I used it as my fancy chowki ( I still have it) I did not start using counter until I saw hubby’s sisinlaw roll out the xxxlarge roti to make 6 oil roti😄

I came to Toronto for 3 weeks holiday with intentions to return to GY…did not bring anything for myself just few pcs clothes.
