11 Actors Who've Suffered Injuries On The Sets!

Bollywood actors have had a string of accidents on the sets while shooting. Where a few of them have been lucky to get immediate medical attention and henceforth a speedy recovery, others have had a near death experience given the intensity of the injury. Amitabh Bachchan is one such example, the legendary actor injured himself gravely while shooting for his film 'Coolie' in 1983. Hrithik Roshan too injured himself really bad while shooting for 'Bang Bang'.

The whole country came to a standstill after the megastar, Amitabh Bachchan suffered a fatal injury in his abdomen while shooting for Coolie in 1983. He had to fall on the table and then on the ground, but accidentally the corner of the table hit his abdomen hard and ruptured his intestines which led to heavy blood loss and almost took the actors life.

Shah Rukh Khan has a long list of serious on-set injuries. In a career spanning over almost twenty years, he has had major accidents. He injured his shoulder while shooting for 'Dulha Mil Gaya' in 2009. He hurt his back while shooting for 'Shakti' and while shooting for the cable sequence in 'Don 2' he hurt his elbow and back

Hrithik has had a terrible on-set accident. While shooting for 'Bang Bang', he suffered a head injury. However the actor continued shooting despite the pain and the injury ended him up in the hospital. He was diagnosed with subdural hematoma (blood clot) and had to undergo a surgery for the same later. He had also hurt himself while shooting for a fight sequence in 'Agneepath'.

This Khiladi is also not without a record of accidents. He is well known for performing his stunts and he ended up hurting himself while shooting for 'Rowdy Rathore'. He also sprained his back while shootig for 'Patiala House'.

Though Aamir Khan has not done as many action sequences as the other actors, but the actor ended up hurting himself on the sets of 'Ghajini'. Aamir pulled a hamstring in a sequence where he had to lift and throw a 100 kg man. He denied taking rest and this worsened his condition which delayed the shoot by three weeks.

Ranveer Singh injured himself on the sets of 'Gunday' and 'Ram-Leela'. He cut his cheek while filming the former film and his foot while shooting the latter one.

Randeep Hooda collapsed on the sets of 'Sultan' and was rushed to the hospital. He had a severe appendicitis attack. He will undergo a surgery at the Fortis Hospital in Delhi.

John Abraham suffered a knee injury while shooting for 'Force 2'. The accident happened while filming an action sequence and the blood clot had to be removed for which he underwent a surgery.
