There has been a lot of great years in Bollywood history--and similarly, there has been quite a few that have been terrible in a lot of ways. If we had to rate, 2016 would be somewhere in the middle.
Though it was not great in a lot of ways, the year in terms of introducing fresh content came out ahead as compared to most recent years.
Obviously, when we talk about recent years. we don't include 2012, which was an especially superlative year for Bollywood.
