We lived our lives growing up watching Bollywood movies or TV shows that has good humour. After a long day at work or a bad exam paper, there are these stand-up comedians who destress our lives for few moments and help us realize that the world is a beautiful place. 

From Hera Pheri to Munnabhai MBBS and even 3 idiots, Bollywood movies are just incomplete without an element of comedy. Therefore, stand-up comedians have not only brought joy in our day to day lives through their TV shows but have come in Bollywood movies to last with us for 2-3 hours.

Johnny Lever

Indian comedian actor, Johnny Lever has worked in almost 300 movies and has given an extraordinary contribution to the Indian cinema. He is the most noted stand-up comedian who has received over 13 Filmfare Awards nominations. Lately, he appeared in Shah Rukhan and Kajol starrer 'Dilwale'.

'Comedy Night with Kapil Sharma' fame, Kapil Sharma started his career as a stand up comedian contestant in 'Hasde Hasande Raho' on MH One. He's the winner of 'The Great Indian Laughter Challenge' in 2007.Later, he participated Comedy Circus and in 2013 he launched his own show, 'CNWK' The comedian made hsi Bollywood debut in 'Bhavnao Ko Samjho' and played a lead role in 'Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon' in 2015.

Bharti Singh

Bharti started her career as a stand up comedian by participating in 'The Great Indian Laughter Challenge' (Season 4). She became popular for her stand-up comedy child character named 'Lalli'. Later, Bharti appeare din comedy shows like 'Comedy Circus 3 Ka Tadka', 'Jubilee Comedy Circus','Comedy Circus Ke Mahabali' and many more. Lately, she's seen in 'Comedy Nights Live' as Chintu Sharma. Bharti has even marked her presence in Bollywood movies like 'Khiladi 786' and 'Sanam Re'.

Raju Srivastav

Popularly known as Gajodhar, Raju Srivastav was the second-runner up in a comedy talent show 'The Great Indian Laughter Challenge'. This comedian won the title 'The King of Comedy' on the show 'The Great Indian Laughter Challenge - Champions'. He even participated in Bigg Boss 3 and Nach Baliye 6. Raju made his Bollywood debut back in 1988 in 'Tezaab'. He was last seen in the movie ' Bhavnao Ko Samjho as Daya from Gaya'
