20 Movie Titles That Trolled Themselves!

At a time when social media would just latch on to anything that gives them an opportunity to troll you, why on earth would a filmmaker title his/her film that says ‘Baar Baar Dekho.’ I mean isn’t this like inviting so many of those critics to make fun out you and your title? As it turned out, the very recent outing that Sidharth-Katrina starrer made in theaters, it was welcomed with comments like – “Baar Baar Dekho = Kabhi Mat Dekho.” So there you go, you give your film a title that has enough meat to get trolled, and critics/audiences would use it to have fun.
Such has been the case with a lot of films in the past. Last year when Shahid-Alia’s darn boring Shaandaar hit the screens, people all round the corners had a perfect peg to troll the film for its contrasting content. There are filmy titles that just give you this feeling of making a comment only because it’s been served on a platter. A very chaotic and moronic film a few years ago starring Ali Zafar-Yami Gautam was titled ‘Total Siyapaa’. Can you believe it, Total Siyapaa? What were the makers thinking really?
Going by this trend of trolling your own film with its title, we dug a little deeper and found out such titles that really looked set to throw a satire on themselves. Going further back to the times when social media didn’t really have much of an impact and critics were mostly limited to print, we found that these trolling titles did exist.
Note: Only those titles have been considered as trolling material that threw a satire on the content of the film.
