@Demguy, bai Irfan owes me from them smelly diaper and hammock rocking days. The least he can do is share the qurbani beef with me lol.
Itβs really sad that we are at this point . The dicktator Granger started this shyte since his Burnham days. Imagine the people who were caught committing the fraud are STILL working there. Observers will not declare this election as Fair.
How can you conclude its a close race, when PPPC is ahead by 53,000 votes.
As per SN. In 2105 Region 4
APNU registered 112,362 votes
PPPC registered 69,986 votes
A difference of 42,376 votes
APNU needs almost 10,000 votes to reach PPP. and base on the trend of this election, PPP has gain significantly outside their support base, so chances are, they will gain more in Region 4
Looking back at the last LGE, PPP make inroads into APNU strong hold.
The smaller parties is out.
Hope this helps.

@Former Member The LGE cannot be used as a predictor of the outcome of the general election. That much is clear from the results already known. Not so long ago some were predicting a landslide for the PPP but clearly that is not happening.
Official results - PPP has won region 7.
wow...looks like my PPP will win this thing
It is inconceivable for PNCR/AFC to secure the needed gains in Region 4.
Interesting times ahead for the official declaration of the election results.
Ha Ha Ha
Many will be shocked to see how well PPP did in Region 4.
Salute to the US Ambassador who is in the house as the final region is counted.
Dem Guyanese who cuss Trump should apologize rass. Sarah is a respectable ambassador unlike fat boi. Many cuss me down but I always said that Republicans are always better for democracy in Guyana.
Sean, as a youngster living at MacKenzie before going to Georgetown for high school studies, the inroads made by the PPPC is not a surprise to me.
Preparations are underway for the swearing in of the President.
The international observers are focused on this election and indeed one now needs to see how issues will evolve for the official election results.
BH Do you think GECOM will announce the winner tomorrow, I think it will be Friday?
It should be done promptly after the announcement. PNC has SOP and know that they lost. Former President Granger should concede respectfully and let democracy prevailed. He raped the Guyana enough.
Bibi,
Can you elaborate on the swearing of the president. Which president?
Based on very reliable deep inside info I received yesterday , PPP won with a margin giving them a 34 to 31 seat majority. Of course, these have to be validated. However, it hard to understand a major discrepancy. The shock the PNC feeling, their margin victory in Region 4 was smaller than 2015.
Its great the US ambassador stepped in. Monkey knows what limb to jump on!
Django, Totaram, donβt hang your hat on 2015. A lot has changed on the ground since!
Hey hey hey.
caribj was dead wrong. Our Douglas brothers and sisters are not shackled to the PNC. A large segment of young blacks voted PPP.
PPP is no longer a Kulie party. No need to share power, they are diversified enough.
