The bulk of the income taxes that are paid are from salaried workers and from larger urban oriented businesses.

Now go and peddle your "black man lazy"  brown bai KKK rant elsewhere.

Well they went and voted PPP in LGE.  Drainage is a LOCAL issue.  NOT a national one.

So let the "coolie people party" do some work instead of merely boasting that they "consolidated the East Indian support base".

It isn't as if flooding only started becoming a problem over the last 11 months.

If only you had the same opinion when Georgetown flooded and turned into Garbage city. You blamed the PPP. The irrigation of the farming areas are a central govt responsibility, not local. Hence the Hope canal. Don't play stupid.

El Dorado rum is big on the world market. For several years, the 25 years old was number one and today it is still somewhere at the top. If the 50 years is estimated to bring in G$500k, it because people are expected to pay that price. That should improve the prospects of those working at DDL who will in turn spend that on other areas of Guyana thereby improving the prospects of other Guyanese. At this price, most of this rum would have to be sold to the richer people around the world.
