[www.inewsguyana.com] – Senior official of the African Cultural Development Association (ACDA) and University lecturer, Eric Phillips has questioned the APNU/AFC coalition attacks on Ambassador Elisabeth Harper for being selected as the PPP/C Prime Ministerial Candidate.

In a Facebook post, Phillips said: “Don’t know why the combined opposition would comment negatively on the selection of Mrs Harper as PM Candidate…have some class and tell us what you will do for us…stppps…show us dignity.”

General Secretary of A Partnership for National Unity (APNU), Joseph Harmon, is of the firm belief that the PPP will sink Elisabeth Harper in their “sea of corruption.”

Harmon, during a telephone interview with iNews reacted to the Party’s announcement that Mrs. Harper will run alongside incumbent President Donald Ramotar as its Prime Ministerial candidate at the upcoming general and regional elections on May 11.

Mrs. Harper is currently the Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Harmon described Mrs. Harper as a ‘decent public servant’; however, he criticized the Prime Ministerial candidacy.

Personally, I have nothing against Elisabeth Harper.

What I'm saying is, as prime minister Mrs Harper cannot do what Sam Hinds has failed to do the past 22 years.

Remember, when Sam Hinds was chosen in 1992 the PPP campaigned on the slogan: FOR LEAN AND CLEAN GOVERNMENT, VOTE PPP.

Is Sam Hinds' government lean and clean today?

Now that is newsworthy!

Bai, the class-conscious Freedom House didn't specify whether it's first class, second class or third class. For now, we can settle for Accabre class.

First question for Ms. Harper:

Ms. PM Candidate, what do you think of the AG's statement that "the man want to knock the girl." Is this the kind of person you want in your cabinet?

What do you think Madame Diplomat would say?

The PPP and its propaganda brigade is just making shit up. No one has attacked the woman. One wonders where the woman was given she had such long service in the administration. She is also not sacred turf. One has a right to question her long service but abject lack of any record there of. Given her quiet nondescript life one also wonders what it is she brings. The PPP needs to pad her bio so we know she existed prior to now.

Our AFC/APNU don't want classism.  Our job is to take care of the working class and middle class.  The PPP and its parasitic contractor, new bourgeois class are doing very well.

The PPP and progress means the PPP crooks stacking their accounts and building second and third homes while the masses still subsist on 3500 a year. How much jobs have they created in the past decade?

Ramotar promised 50000 jobs last time. Did he mean for the Chinese since only they seem to be getting jobs. I doubt he created 6 thousand jobs in his 3 years in office. The truth be told he possibly destroyed as much as he created since the sugar industry fell apart.

Meanwhile, our young people are sitting on crumbs barely getting by. Let him hand over fishing rights to the Chinese and the last productive renewable industry is dead and some 1400 jobs gone. The crooks in the PPP spells only misery for most Guyanese.

And on May 11, 2015, the PPP/C will be elected with more than 52% of the votes and eventually there will be President Donald Ramotar and Prime Minister Elisabeth Harper.

And Berbicans will vote for them?

Berbicians will have to vote PPP. If sugar is taken out of Berbice, thousands of jobs are at stake. It will have a domino effect. Berbicians strongly believe that the PNC will close Skeldon factory in a NY minute, given the chance.

The APNU is committed to rehabilitating the sugar industry. It is a necessity. It can be done. It suffocates because of PPP nepotism. Raj Singh with no experience in the industry, Geeta Singh, a demonstrable failure, squats on the board and the list goes on of incompetence and neglect that has ruined the industry.

One need only be reminded it was on Ramorar's watch the white elephant of a sugar plant was handed over with no warantee of usability. Even  if you buy a phone you expect it to work or demand your money back. Some quarter a billion dollars US gone and it still cannot perform to the level of t he old Albion plant. The PPP ruined sugar against all odds of doing so!

Councie we have to give Donald some credit....they passed on Kwame & Rat and took a Real Girl....they could have done worst. They could have Chosen Miss Piggy, Ole Poke or Dhar Poke.....but they chose a respectable Lady.

I feel the mistake the made was overlook Liz boss who is a far better and Brighter Choice.....and a Beauty.....but they are hoping to get a few PNC votes so they went that way.

It do not make a difference either way....they will still lose.

The P.P.P would most obviously win a majority at the May 11 polls, on the 12th of May or a few days after when the results are announced, the A.F.C goons will be too ashamed to post on G.N.I, they'll hang their heads in awful sorrow.

Let's not bash the AFC anymore. They are in a graveyard at the interment ceremony. The AFC must now be mentioned in the same breath as the PNC.

As a loyal house negro, you don't have anything to worry about.
