Old Montreal is beautiful with cobblestone streets, artists in alleys, horse drawn carriages, quaint boutiques etc but I must warn you, those people got no time for English speaking people, especially since the PQ's just got elected.

They're the guys who would love to have Quebec separated from the rest of Canada.

I've heard there's a lot of English speaking people preparing to leave as some did back around the 80's.

Too bad the other Provinces are East of them or I'd say build a wall separating them from the rest of the country.

 

The other side of the coin is they want to retain their culture, they see immigrants coming in and trying to change their homeland as we see in other provinces and this gets their blood boiling.

Without Berbice coolie all you Georgetown people would have starved!!
