Model-actress Riya Sen, best known for her role in the film Style opposite Sharman Joshi, got married to her boyfriend Shivam Tewari on Wednesday in Pune. The actress belongs to a family of actors, grandmother Suchitra Sen, mother Moon Moon Sen and sister Raima Sen. Earlier, buzz had it that Riya and her beau would tie the knot by the end of August. However, the actress married her boyfriend Shivam in a hush-hush ceremony yesterday, according to an Indian Express report.
The actress who is active on social media, loves to share her varied activities with her fans. Riya Sen also loves to click adorable pictures with her husband Shivam Tewari.
Right from her self-defense lessons to her romantic trips with boyfriend, Riya has shared several pictures on Instagram. The actress shot to fame with the lead character in the 2001 hit film Style. She also appeared as second leads in numerous films such as Qayamat and Jhankaar Beats. The actress has also done a couple of South and Bengali movies.
The actress was last seen in the short film, Lonely Girl, which released on the internet. She had told SpotboyE, "Digital content is getting very popular especially with the youth in India, hence short films are a great opportunity to tell different kinds of stories for the young audiences. Also, the massive popularity of social media makes short form content more convenient to consume and market, at a fraction of a cost."
