Anushka Sharma out, Parineeti Chopra and Vani Kapoor in race to be the female lead in Aditya Chopra’s Befikre!

On the occasion of the late master director Yash Chopra’s 83rd birthday, YRF films made a special announcement – the reclusive Aditya Chopra will be returning to direction after a gap of 8 years with his new film, Befikre!
The announcement was quite special, since Aditya Chopra has only made three films in his 20 year career, each being a blockbuster. He made his debut with the one of the longest running films, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge.
He followed it up with Mohabattein in 2000. His last film was Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. All the films starred Shah Rukh Khan.
For his new film, we had earlier reported that Anushka Sharma and Ranveer Singh could be playing the leads. However, we have now got some EXCLUSIVE news that Anushka Sharma is out of the film, and she will be replaced either by Parineeti Chopra and Vaani Kapoor. Though the reason why Anushka is out of the film is not clear, sources say things have fallen sour between Aditya Chopra and the girl he has launched in his last film. So she was shown the door.
With regards to the current players, Parineeti Chopra is being pushed into the film by Maneesh Sharma, a close associate of Aditya Chopra. But the big man himself prefers Vaani Kapoor, who was last seen in Bollywood in her debut film Shuddh Desi Romance, that incidentally also had Parineeti Chopra! Both the actresses are in dire need of a huge film, so this opportunity is God-sent for them!
