same here I enjoy their tunes.

one thing we have to remember guys, back in the 60's and 70's we had a limited amount of songs that were played on the radio. Not many have record players and if they did, records were scarce and expensive.

We had to listen to Radio Demerara and GBS and since there was no TV in those days, radio was the only source of entertainment at home.

We ended up listening to a lot of American and UK tunes thus we all shared in the wonderful memories of these types of tunes.

Years ago, I bought the Best of the Platters CD (not bootleg). It's a wonderful treat.
I do however think that the Eversley Brothers' version of "Unchained Melody" is the best.

Yes.. SG .. I dont think anyone else can touch the Eversley Bros. on that song..
