As of now Granger is a US citizen. That declaration was made by an established law firm in America that wouldn’t risk their license for $40k. You are in denial.

Secondly Greenidge has been in parliament since Burnham was alive so your vitriol to Gail is still quite interesting.

The proof to provide isn't when Greenidge became a Finance Minister ,it's when he became a Member of Parliament ,breaking the LAW being a Citizen of another Country ,that's what was stated in your post.

In 1983 the Budget Speech was presented by Desmond Hoyte .

You clutching at straws bai. If he was Minister of Finance he would also be an MP. Who presented the 1984 budget?

Exactly. And Burnham was still alive.

Narine did not cover every minute detail in his account.

He doesn't show who replaced Ridley and Teekah when they were murdered by the PNC for instance.

So the blame is on Frank Narine ,for omitting events on the historical background of Parliament. Consider this discussion for providing the facts. Any way Greenidge tenure in as MP is about 12 yrs.Don't think  Burnham would have allowed him to be an MP having British Citizenship.

Any detailed account on your last sentence or is it hearsay ? you can present ,my participation will be nil.

This is the joke of the day. Burnham who stole every election between 1968 and 1980 would be concerned with Greenidge being an MP and dual citizen.

Me believe dual citizenship became an issue after Charrandass NCM and I am sure many MPs operated with it before that time, without questions.

I am not sure of the link, but there were stories of women going to the US to deliver their baby, so it can be registered as American citizen.

No doubt many were sitting in Parliament knowing fully well that they were in violation of the constitution regarding dual citizenship but it seemed acceptable to all. Ramjattan mentioned it early last year as the conversation was heating regarding Charrandas' eligibility to vote on the NCM. It may have been just as acceptable during Burnham's time although I would have so research it as I don't know right now. But didn't Burnham overpay Ramphal to lure him back to Guyana and take the AG job hence the recent discussion of why the AG was paid more then the PM until Nagamootoo got that salary increase which he never really earned.

But my argument was not even on all of that. It was simply why so much vitriol for Gail as opposed to all the other dual citizens who were sitting in Parliament? It just seemed misogynistic when it was first mentioned but I don't know.

And you are correct that women do come to the US to have their babies so they can be registered as US citizens. They come from all over the world because afterall America is still the best place in the world.
