I highly recommend a long vacation, even though through the middle of it you really wish it was time to go back home, but in the end you are little sad that it over.
Miles away from the land of my birth and childhood. I couldn’t help
but think what it would be like to spend 4 weeks in Guyana, sound like a great idea, the problem is I would have want to re live my childhood,
but all my friends and even acquaintances are all gone. the Best of my
childhood friend is a gentleman name Harold Takelall from Lajalousie.
we started Central High from form 1 to GCE,and we were inseparable,
over the years I went to Guyana several times and Evey time my good friend would make time for me.
Harold Passed away some years ago.Now Guyana will always be a fond
memory of my past, I tried to convince my Darling wife to take a trip with me, don't look like that going to happen soon.

Sorry about your loss, but reports are that Guyana is a paradise now. You have casinos, big buildings, malls, and many tourist attractions.
You can rent a car and tour the entire country. I am going to participate in the upcoming auto racing soon.

Sorry about your loss, what year you attended Central?
FM
My years at Central was from 1962 to 1968
that was the era of trains and ferry.
If you were late it was automatic detention
Been there several times, only because there was an unwritten rule that you don't hang out on Leopole and Cross street.
After CP I became a Prefect and remain on until
I left for the states in 68
the funny thing is I came to study Computers.
still learning.
