Also included in that plan for $21.00, there is unlimited 24 hour calling in North America and 1000 minutes/month free calling to 55 countries.
the rate will always be high calling guyana, calling hell is far far away

For the reasons below, it is important not to believe everything a telephone serv rep tells you about a calling plan. Especially if she/he will not give you their employee number as reference.

The Telus 0.20 cents/minute calls to Guyana seems a bit bizzare from the regular 0.39 cents/minute now being paid.

I had it checked out with Bell customers and called another serv rep at Telus, only to be told that there is NO 0.20 cents/minute call to Guyana.
Without a calling plan the rate to GY is 0.59 cents/minute.

Many customers believe what they are being told by serv reps and find surprises in their next phone bill. Cheaper grand-fathered plans which are changed, cannot be reversed.

The $21:00 plan which include 55 countries says in the fine print, it is only from land line tel, to land line tel and calls to other devices[cell etc] are at the 0.59 cents/minute rate, which they conveniently dont mention.

I spent decades at Telus[which is similar to Bell]...talk is cheap ??..BS.
