Cocaine curves model caught at Rome airport

Italian airport police eyeing up a busty Spanish model's curves made a startling discovery on Wednesday -- 2.5 kilograms (5.5 pounds) of pure cocaine stashed as implants in her bust and backside.

The 33-year-old woman arriving in Rome from Sao Paulo in Brazil was wearing tight-fitting clothes to enhance her voluptuousness, hoping that her looks might distract the attention of border police, ANSA news agency reported.

The report said the woman drew suspicion however after giving unclear answers to questions about the reasons for her trip to Italy to an officer. The discovery was made when two female investigators conducted a strip search.

Smuggling methods through Rome's Fiumicino airport have become ever more ingenious, including cocaine found hidden inside baggage trolleys last year.

How do they plan on getting it out and confiscating it... And who will be covering the cost of the medical procedure to remove it.

There is credibility to a big batty story....
The Washington State ferry to British Columbia has reduced the number of passangers on each sailing due to overweight Americans passangers.
Rass, airplane might start doing the same or pay for two seats.

Fat passengers force Coast Guard to change Washington ferry capacities

SEATTLE -- The collective weight gain of Americans is pushing the U.S. Coast Guard to change the passenger capacities of Washington state's ferries.

Under the old guidelines issued by the Coast Guard, the average person was thought to weigh between 140 and 160 pounds. But now the average American scales in at about 185 pounds.

That weight spike forced some recalculations. For example, the ferry Yakima's old passenger limit was 2,000 people. Now, it's 1,783.

State officials say passengers shouldn't see too many changes from the new capacity guidelines because boats rarely reach full capacity.

Still, Coast Guard Lt. Kirk Beckman told KOMO News the change is about safety. They don't want overloaded ferries to capsize.
