We sang lustily "we Britons will never be slaves". Ask Guyanese why they didn't vote yesterday and they will suck their teeth and discuss how corrupt the nation is. Yes we have progressed. At least we know that this is wrong. Now we need to figure out how to change it.
Suh we sit around and schuppps we teeth and "discuss" corruption. And this is the progress we made in 50+ years of independence, fully acceptable to you. Ok bai, I done.
Good luck with that "now we need to figure out how to change it" thingie. Dat shouldn't be a problem. We probably have the most "political scientists" per capita in the world so dat shouldn't be a problem. Just give it another 100 years when dem done schupsin dem teeth and "discussing" corruption.
