I registered with Movember.com to raise funds to advance men's health. Too many times us men fail to recognize something brewing with our health and find out the hard way. I used to think that I was strong and invincible and came within an hour of losing it all. Please visit my team's page at http://us.movember.com/team/966345 to donate to this effort. Thank you.

I am not sure if this is solicitation. If so, please remove. Thanks.

If I wanted to put my own money, I would not need to sign up with this organization. It is for others to donate. The objective is to get others talking more so that they take care of themselves than wait for something catastrophic to happen.

And don't confuse me with what Christians have to give to their churches. They are bound by 10%. We are required to give whatever we don't need for ourselves. You like Sagga boy don't seem to know anything about what you speak of.

Ksazma, I'd like to suggest..

(1) a different title for this thread- it is not a "by the way" thread. It is serious and worthy.

(2) pin it to the top for about a week or two

(3) provide other options for donating

I commend you for getting involved and raising awareness and funds.
