Maxy, i don't have a BB and even poor people carrying them around. I got a lil cheapskate phone to just make and get emergency calls.

Stupid question: Why didn't you call your on premise IT dept for help in the first instant.

Less aggravation.

IGH our firm IT is 9-5 and then they outsource to Atlanta (not sure why) for after hours help. This was about 9:30 in the evening, no internal techi was there. I ended up going home anyways (good excuse to leave early )

I am going to restrain my impulse to respond in kind so I will respond as one who knows a bit about encryption. You would be very much at risk if you create your password our of the name for a person for thing. One simply run a series of dictionaries against it to break it. Other schemes depend on how stong it is ie the mathematical combinations to be tested and the the systems encoding scheme itself. I am not trying to be a password police. I am offering advice to those who care to protect themselves.

I suggest you get a windows live account and up load there.

Go one better with this if you so firmly believe there is no danger...don't waste time with passwords.

None of my laptops have passwords, but unfortunately many services demand a password.
The funny thing is that no password is safe, no matter how sophisticated it is, because the services all know your password.
If you lose it, you have to turn around and ask them for it, so what's the point?
