i do not know if this is true but one would expect the a difference in center of gravity given women have more adipose tissue and that would affect buoyancy.

I noticed this curious sentence while reading a few passages written by Pliny the Elder, a Roman philosopher and naturalist who lived 2,000 years ago.

Not having seen a floating human corpse, I am looking for confirmation or rejection of Pliny's statement.

If anyone has witnessed a corpse floating in Guyana or elsewhere, please chime in.
