Marriage proposals in the United States are becoming more thrilling by death defying stunts and oddly twists. I remember when the magic question use to be simple, romantic and most time private. Call me old fashioned!

I don't propose to a girl from a club, neither my wife is from a club. I also don't use any physical force on any woman. Her family is big enough to form a small army against me if I'm out of line.

ahem..I think the club refer in this case is the caveman club, you know...to clobber over the head......

Thanks for pointing out the correct meaning of words. Even so, I don't use a "club" to clobber my wife on the head. I may use an enamel cup that flakes when impacted on the skull.

You won't believe this, but once a Turkish girl approached me in the street and ask me to marry her. She was a grad student whose visa was up. I asked her if she wanted a business marriage or a real one. She said a real one.
