Davendra is still around, now and again he sings at various clubs, has quite a few CD'S maybe over a dozen, went to India and did some Mukesh Recordings, was really good, but the recording that I treasured most was the one that he had done in Guyana sometime in the late 80's, that was produced by Maurice Rajkumar, that one is a gem.
