Demi’s rep tells TMZ, “Because of the stresses in her life right now, Demi has chosen to seek professional assistance to treat her exhaustion and improve her overall health. She looks forward to getting well and is grateful for the support of her family and friends.”

Sources tell TMZ the actual reason for the treatment is for substance abuse. Demi has had a rough few months.

These women don't learn the dangers of hanging out with little boys! I have to speak to her seriously!

I agree when celebrities marry younger mates on both sides. These people are rich, famous and under a lot of pressure. Acting is a very stressful career, and many Celebes turn to drugs to calm their nerves. If you're not a star, can you imagine the pressure one has to go through to do a five minutes cut in a sex scene? Well, that's one reason why so many are turning to younger mates and drugs. Again, would you like to see your wife/husband kissing different men/women every day on the set and pay no mind to you when he/she comes home. The next thing you knows the magic word pops up. I want a divorce.
