For those who rustproof their vehicles I have to pass this on.

I had this done last Nov10,  with taxes it cost approx $165, this was for a complete job.

A couple weeks ago Cain the body job guy decided to repair a rust spot on one of the rocker panels (the strip that runs under the door, it goes between the wheel wells front to back..the jack is usually placed there when in use) when I called Toyota they informed me it couldn't be replaced as on many cars, I had to purchase the whole side of this dam van, $2500.  Eh eh, Iman cut out a small area so I could weld on a patch and to my surprise, not a drop of the liquid used, I decided to check inside my hatch door, again, nothing. (This stuff stays on for at least 18months) I could see it in my engine compartment and under the vehicle but not in my doors, nor other panels.

I tried sending an email through the company's web site but it was returned as undeliverable so I contacted their Head office who got hold of me after a few days saying the manager will contact me on it.

Long story short, today I took the vehicle back and had it done at no charge.

If you have this done, ask which areas are being taken care of because since then I have found out other companies do the same dam thing, take your money but don't do a good job. Two of our townspeople told me they now have the shop do just the undercarriage and the engine compartment, they do the rest so they know it was done properly. We are now thinking of building a ramp to do our own work.

What I do need to get done urgently is to have the sunroof and windshield sealed☔ïļ Water drips over steering wheel when it rains hard

What do u folks advice, where to take it?

If the steering wheel gets wet, move it to de other side or wherever it dryer.

I'm not sure if the roof has something like a gasket that goes between the roof's metal and the window. Perhaps the dealer would have the correct parts for that.

Tell them you must have missed the recall on it, confuse they rant.
