We were co-workers and close friends. I kept hoping that some of the charges were political and that he would be partially vindicated - or at least avoid going to jail. When I read the indictments I was devastated. I still consider him my friend but he deserves everything that he will be getting. Stealing from underprivileged children is the lowest of the low.
I feel especially badly for his mother. I know her very well and she is a woman of class.

There will be war in five. Someone can win easily with 6k votes or less. It will have to be in May and coming so close after the April primaries the numbers may be even lower.
Some 20 people already are probing their their chances.

It was indeed stupid of him to be engage in this type of activity. I was especially angered by the fact that this was not a one time indiscretion, but something that was well ochhestrated from the day he assumed office. He has disappointed a whole lot of people.
I agree that there will be war in Ward 5. With the Thomas aura out of the picture Vincent, as elder statesman, seems positioned to be Kingmaker.
