ESSEQUIBO WOMAN REAPS 12-POUND SOURSOP

[Sunday Chronicle]

A RESIDENT of Walton Hall village on the Essequibo Coast has reaped a 12-pound soursop from a tree in her yard.

altMs. Jenny Lall said the healthy fruit was produced without fertilizer after purchasing the plant from the Plant Nursery of the National Agricultural Research and Extension Institute (NAREI) at Charity, also on the Essequibo Coast.
She said she loves planting, and always remembers the advice of the late President Dr. Cheddi Jagan to plant a fruit tree.
She said she also bought a guava tree from the same nursery operated by the Ministry of Agriculture, and is happy to see a bunch with seven guavas.
Ms Lall said she purchased that tree for $100, and it produces very healthy fruits without being fertilised.

I have a few plants too, sadly they will not bear fruits

If the plants are flowering then you'll have to pollinate them manually. Look up the procedure on the internet. Cotton buds are the easiest to use for the collection and redistribution of the pollen.
