at least PPP thief but development continues.

Where was the development? Guysuco, Berbice Bridge, Marriott?

Ow bai, dem repair roads, upgrade infrastructure , schools, hospitals, water access etc,

Who got the contracts and the jobs connected to these projects?  Lindeners were quite vocal in announcing that PPP contractors brought in PPP workers to build the hospital.  So it can be argued that even projects in PNC areas were for the benefit of PNC supporters.

And to say that there isn't some measure of infrastructure development under the Coalition is a blatant lie.

I agree that local labor/contractors should be leveraged in the community affected. Maybe an ill of the PPP but I see this happening everywhere in the US. You go to inner cities in the good old USA and see outsiders working on development projects while the locals pickup bottles and sell drugs to make ends meet. Not sure if such a model of hiring can be legislated successfully.

Those are the labor rules in Swiss and also encountered that in India.  Local unions ensure local hiring for union jobs.

Even if the PPP had Black workers in Linden , they are labeled as PPP.  They can't win. They were employing the best qualified workers , don't side track from the facts progress was being done, schools and hospitals were being built in Linden. The PPP went up and beyond to please the Black communities  against many of their supporters.

Has the PNC/AFC taken any legislative steps to enact similar rules in Guyana? I used to hear d2 braying that Amerindians should be in charge of projects in their community, but now he is silent on these matters. Perhaps PNC/AFC has cured all these ills and every community is now happy. I don't hear d2 or cribby complaining anymore of outsiders getting contracts in Linden and other places.

Come on now pnc boy, why after 3 1/2 years your saru cannot jail Jagdeo?  You run around hurling accusations but when people ask for proof you go off on a tangent ranting and raving and you expect people to take you serious? Every man deserves his day in court, you have tried and convicted Jagdeo in the court of personal opinion and denied the man his day in court.

PNC bais are spending over a BILLION dollars a year and they seized a few computers from a Regional District and it was all PNC councillors involved. Makes anyone think that SOCU is helping PNC destroy evidence. There was also a mysterious fire at the Finance Ministry.

SOCU is a PNC instrument for destroying evidence in any future implication of PNC thieves at a cost of one BILLION per year.

I'm not saying that.  Guyana don't have such rules from what I know!

And where is this money coming from?  The Govt is struggling to pay public servants.

If there is nothing to hide, why the fear. Burnham constitution comes in handy.

The Burnham Constitution doesn’t say anything about.  Show me where you see that.

Got that from your life line ? haven't heard any complaints from Public Servants.

The Minister of Finance just confirmed that the Consolidated Fund is in Overdraft of $155.9 billion dollars.  The Gov’t is operating in serious debt.  How come you miss the article in Stabroek News?  Google “Overdraft figure of $155.9b in Auditor General’s report” and post the thread.

Don’t think it is a national rule, more local govt working with unions on unionized jobs.   Not sure Guyana is organized for that.
