You are way off if you believe that Guyanese Indians in Queens are any better off than Afro Guyanese in Brooklyn. The two groups are basically on the same level. I have loads of black school mates who are professional people living in Brooklyn and owning their own homes. And there are many more who were properly educated in Guyana and furthered their studies in the US. Don't fool yourself that Brooklyn is all ghetto, especially since there has been a major gentrification push in Brooklyn in the last two decades. Have you seen the value of real estate in Brooklyn lately? Some of those homes are worth a fortune.

FYI you might as well call the government of India racist as this is a problem which they have identified which creates a whole host of other problems. One being the fact that Indian kids are more malnourished than are sub Saharan kids because their exposure to the filth leads to high levels of diarrhea and other ailments that reduces their ability to properly digest and absorb the nutrients that they eat.

Now as to black Cubans. Loads of them live in the NY/NJ area. Why? Wages and salaries are higher and there are a broader range of opportunities. NYC is a global city.
I have to agree with CaribJ, Blacks are prosperous and successful and Indians are failures. In fact when you look on tv and see mostly blacks being portrayed as criminals, it is actually an Indian pretending to be a black just go give them a bad name. When you pass by the welfare office and see the lines of blacks, they are merely holding a space in the line for an Indo. When you pass through the slums and see so many blacks, they are merely visiting their Indo relatives, in fact these blacks have successful jobs and live in the suburbs.

This is your fallacy bai. I didn't paint anyone as superior. My initial entrance to this topic was completely based on your comment about Guyanese Indians doing menial jobs in other islands. I then asked you why they get more out of their efforts and you deflected by going to your go to escape from reality.
