If this letter is written by her ... under which law and act is this woman of 40 years of legal experience requesting this information. Itâs seems GECOM has now assume the role of the judiciary... she DOES NOT have such authority.
It seems the constitution and rule of law doesnât mean anything to Ayo.
She has a moral if not legal obligation to report any suspicious fraud. The police cannot act until a formal request is made.

Then a request should be done to investigate Mingoâs fraud...

You should know the Chairwoman, Claudette Singh, has no independent authority ... she is in effect a member of a Board ... she canât unilaterally take decisions ... all actions must be on instruction of the Commission ... usually after issue is put to a vote.
This is why the credibility of GECOM is said to be compromised. Not all of GECOM ... but a few seem to have an
agenda ...
This is unlawful and inexcusable. There is, in any event, no authority for GECOM to investigate the complaints ... they are a statutory body; bound by the statute as to their functions they cannot simply do as they please.
The above is from Sanjeev Dattin.

What should be done with Mingo? Provide a answer without emotions.

Claudette Singh is alyou muma when it comes to the law. Hers is the swing vote so prepare for it. BTW, she was Jagdeo's nominee!

Did the PPP tried to block the Mingo second declaration in the High Court ? Do you recall what the Judge said ?
There was no attempt to provide an answer to my questions. When you speak of emotions ,clearly shows your weakness.

What question, who should report the Electoral Fraud ? GECOM is responsible for elections are they not ? who told you the Chairman a former Judge ,doesn't have the authority ?

The PPP posse of lawyers can take GECOM Chairman to court .The evidence of skullduggery will be presented.
Too many interference in the functioning of GECOM by the politicians.

Haul yuh ass. You did not even finish grade 3. De woman got a law degree. Anyone can report an alleged crime. Why don't you report Mingo as a so-called concerned Guyanese-Canadian citizen?
Not one international observer and or any democratic nation is on the side of the APNU on this electoral issue. They know the PNC lost the elections. The PNC knows that Irfaan Ali won more votes than David Granger at the March 2, 2020 elections.

What is the intention and or interpretation of this picture on the front page of Guyana National News Paper.
They are trying to get their mobs to get out and riot before a declaration is made. You know the history of the PNC and their modus operandi.
PNC can say anything. If does not mean it's factual. Suddenly, they are finding the dead and those migrated voted. Why now when they count is about to conclude and the results are showing that the opposition's SOPs match the recount numbers???

BRB, please post your evidence that the results match the opposition SOPS. Please post the PPP's spreadsheet summary of the original count by Region.

We continue to maintain that GECOM has no jurisdiction to hear and determine these matters which can only be addressed by the High Court in an election petition. However, we wish to make it abundantly clear that the PPP/C is not afraid of any investigation or inquiry of any type and is ready to participate in any such activity at the appropriate time and at the right forum.

PRESS STATEMENT
The People's Progressive Party/Civic (PPP/C) notes a letter sent by the Commissioner of Police to the Chairperson of GECOM, providing a list of persons who were allegedly out of the country on Elections Day. We wish to highlight that a political party APNU+AFC, not the Government, was provided by the Commissioner of Police/Immigration Department with the immigration records of citizens without their consent, which APNU+AFC is using for it nefarious political agenda. The matter is compounded by the Commissioner of Police purporting to verify the very information that he or his servants/agents supplied to that political party.
It is already on the public record that APNU+AFC is concocting these allegations. One would recall a couple in Berbice who are in Guyana and voted for APNU+AFC but APNU+AFC claimed that those persons were overseas on Elections Day. This issue was fully ventilated in the Kaieteur News. We have also found hundreds of persons who were in Guyana on March 2, and voted, yet APNU+AFC claimed that they were out of the jurisdiction on election day. Certainly if the information provided by the Commissioner of Police/his servants and or agents are false, such misrepresentation will not be without consequences at the appropriate time.
In any event, there is no way of connecting any of the persons who APNU+AFC claim were abroad with the ballots cast on March 2, so it is all a wild fishing expedition to delay the declaration of the results.
The PPP/C intends to seek an audience with the Chairperson for clarification on this latest development.
It will be recalled that in a sample of 87 ballot boxes on the East Bank Demerara, Mingo fraudulently gifted to APNU+AFC over 5000 votes. In order to detract from Mingo's fraud and in their frantic effort to prevent the declaration of the final results of the recount, the likes of Joseph Harmon will manufacture more ridiculous allegations, such as that 96,000 ballots cast are invalid.
No doubt, as the recount continues to establish that the PPP/C won a landslide victory, APNU+AFC desperation will rise to fever-pitch over the next few days and we will have to confront many more wild and bizarre contentions.

Here is some info..
The SOPS tabulation from March 2
The first chart shows the tabulation of all the regions except Region 4
The second chart shows the final tabulation including Region 4.
Dave, you table that says "Final Results" cannot be from the unfinished recount.

That was the declared numbers from PPPC SOPs. A comparison of the chart with today's recount will give you a projection... please have a open mind. Note: PPPC SOPs declared numbers did not varied much from the SOPs Recount.

Thanks. With todays count the PPP lead has dropped. With Region 4 and 10 to come, I can see PPP, probably coming in ahead with about 6,000 votes else the PNC stand a chance to be back in power.

Not necessarily so, Dave.
While political organizations do have access to and secure their copies, all official announcements on the election result must be given by GECOM through the office of the Chairman.

18 persons migrated but voted from St. Cithbert's.
Can they possibly get any more ridiculous.

Immigration tells GECOM Chair 172 persons not in country on elections day, but no evidence they were marked off as voted
The countryâs immigration authorities have told Justice (rtâd) Claudette Singh, Chairman of the Guyana Elections Commission (GECOM), that 172 of the persons she inquired about were not in the country on elections day, March 02. However, if the names of those persons were not marked off as having voted, then the information would be useless.
Parties have accused the incumbent APNU+AFC of going on a wild fishing expedition and Justice Singh is biting the bait.
Justice Singh had written the Commissioner of Police Leslie James on Friday, May 22, 2020, asking him to check on the list of names she said APNU+AFC had claimed were out of the country and had voted; she provided the Commissioner, who is the countryâs Chief Immigration Officer, with the respective polling divisions and stations where those persons may have been marked off as having voted. Two days after the weekend, on May 27, the Commissioner wrote back.
Political parties say the list of the names from APNU+AFC actually originated with immigration authorities who would know the departure and arrival dates of persons.
A list of names was drawn up of people who were out of the country on elections day and supplied to APNU+AFC. The Coalition then sent that list to the GECOM Chairman with its claims, and she then sent that list to the Police Commissioner, who quickly confirmed the information she was requesting.
There is no indication that the names of those persons were crossed off as having voted and Justice Singh has not engaged the media and efforts by the News Room to contact her proved futile.
It is unclear if Justice Singh will now have GECOM agents re-examine the lists from polling stations and verify if the names sent back to her by immigration authorities were crossed off as having voted.
Most of the names agents of APNU+AFC have been calling out wildly as being out of the country or dead on elections day, were not marked off as having voted, so the objections are of no consequence.
In other cases where the names objected to were actually marked off as having voted, persons have come forward to say they were in fact alive or in Guyana and did indeed vote on March 02.
In any case, former Speaker of the National Assembly Ralph Ramkarran, who had argued in an elections petition case in front of Justice Singh, has said that objections being raised by APNU+AFC belong to an elections petition and that GECOM has neither the mandate nor the power to collect evidence.
Parties have already accused GECOM of being in bed with APNU+AFC to manipulate the results of the elections and hand APNU+AFC a victory and that by entertaining the spurious claims of APNU+AFC, Justice Singh is playing into the plot to delay the announcement of the results of the current recount which could be wrapped up in the coming week.
Regarding the tabulation of votes, the countryâs elections law at Chapter 89:2 says âthe Returning Officer shall not openâĶmarked copies of the official list of elections or part thereof or counterfoils of used ballot papers.â

It was not imperative for them to pre-empt the announcement of the Chair of Gecom. PPP was wrong to breach this protocol.
The final results will declare the better rigger.

When did Gecom make this declaration?
