I was nurtured by Guyana.

From its soil my body was nourished.

My thirst was quenched by its stream.

My character fashioned by elders in the community.

With all of our problems.

Would always choose Guyana for transition.

Good choice by my fore-parents.

In their loins they carried me from Bihar/Uttar Pradesh/Kerala.  

My country has done well for its glorious future.

In its journey of false ideologies, 65 years I have traveled.

There is a prayerful Shepherd leading the way.

I unreservedly congratulate APNU-AFC for a hard fought victory. You deserved to win and be given the opportunity to govern. We, the supporters of the PPP/C, deservedly lost. The People spoke and their will is clear.

Please make good use of the goodwill of the people of Guyana, resident and in the Diaspora, which is now reposed in you. I look forward to supporting the new Government wherever and whenever possible whilst remaining a staunch supporter of the new Opposition.

Come on uncle DG, give President Granger and Prime Minister Nagamootoo a more sincere congratulation. They fought hard and won fair and square. Remember how you used to post Mr Nagamootoo's photographs all over GNI calling for him to be Presidential candidate for PPP? Give him his due. He is the greatest third party leader in the history of British Guiana and Guyana.

I am happy to join with the GNI community in extending greetings to the coalition on winning the elections in Guyana.

The PPP/C was judged on track record, the APNU+AFC was judged on PROMISES made to the electorate. Time to keep those promises especially the first 100 days promise, this will be a deciding factor for your second term in Government. The PPP/C will not "throw back" and give you free reign, they will fight tooth and nail for a come back. Lean and Clean is what is expected of Hon. Granger and Hon. Nagamootoo, Biblical David and Moses.

I am waiting for the acceptance speech and the itinerary for the next 100 days.  Do they have a plan?

Moses vex that he didn't become President and that Jagdeo is smarter than him.

Jagdeo can never be smarter than Moses. Jagdeo was a liability to Ramotar.

Jagdeo can rally the base, but he cannot win the election, not this election.  The people who switched to the AFC in 2015 care less what Jagdeo says, and they were the determining factor.  Let's see if the "PNC" allows for the type of independent views and stance which may threaten their dominance.  Only then will we know if the PNC really has shed the pre-1992 demons.  Bear in mind, the PNC has a core of hardline racist who believes in Afro dominance as the only way to address their "ethnic security" concerns.  Just ask Caribj.

However, the blame for their lost lies at the feet of the PPP.  They ruled with utter contempt.  They were removed from the people and failed to broaden their appeal outside of their traditional base.  Not even with the loss of the majority in 2011 did the PPP seek to reach out.

In retrospect, a monumental miscalculation, typical Jagan style.
