Columbia took the warmth of down, and then took it to another level with its Men's Diamond 890 Turbodown Hooded Jacket

* Make sure whatever coat you buy keeps you warm. Last winter was bitterly cold and the Farmer's Almanac says this coming winter will also be frigidly cold.

Heading out to Western Canada (Calgary/Banff) for a lilwhile and their weather goes from one extreme to the next in a short time.

I don't go for the puffy look in jackets as above, I've seen a few that I probly go by Sport Chex and see their stock.

I visited Edmonton a few years ago and wondered how they can survive those brutally cold winters. It was around -40 Celcius wind chill, no kidding.

Stay warm.

* Hmmm! You were surely a big spender in your 20s and 30s. What happened to the other decades ? I guess mortgage, kids college tuition, etc, etc.

Chams:

* What are you 5ft 8"/5ft 9" ?

* If that's the case with the 3 inch heel on that Jimmy Choo you'd be pushing 6ft and would definitely drink soup over most Guyanese men.

* By the way, there are some tall women who love little men:

RE: SUNGLASSES

* Chams---no need to buy now---Christmas around the corner---drop some hints---somebody's ears might be open----the Prada or Ralph Lauren will be a nice gift.

Shoes like those do things to your feet. It feels like they are...... I don't know,  french kissing your feet or something

Men shoes have shoelace and a tongue on top.

looks like lady shoes have the tongue the wrong place

THIS COCKTAIL IS CALLED THE HANKY PANKY

The Hanky Panky originated in at the American Bar at the Savoy Hotel in London. The vermouth and gin play off the Fernet Branca's blend of botanicals.

Ingredients:

  • Gin
  • Sweet vermouth

Why the hell are you going to the cold north in winter?

Arrite! This coming winter will be bitingly cold---Maine already had 21 inches of snow and we are 2 months away from the official start of winter.

I hate cold ears and cold fingers.

QUESTION:

WHAT ARE THE WARMEST WINTER GLOVES YOU EVER BOUGHT ?

* That's the Revit Alaska Gore-Tex winter gloves.

DESCRIPTION:

For those traditionalists who prefer an all-leather glove, rather than the lightweight leather-textile mix of the Bastion GTX, The Alaska GTX with its GORE-TEXÂŪ membrane can handle the coldest days, with comfort and style. Like all REV’IT! gloves, Engineered Skin design balances protection and performance. The result; a superior winter glove.

Visiting a "friend" and also visiting my son,he's in Cuba during the Christmas season so this is our get together,we'll do some jamming and hopefully with all his gear, throw down a few tunes on cd.

I arrive in Calgary a couple days later he and his lady will head off to Vegas for a couple days and leave me with their two dogs, they are two small rice eaters.
