Carib you show me a photo of an African woman wineing up and down on a man other than their husbands in the street and skinning up their behind on men on the street. That is the behaviour of 17th century Englishman Pirate and his lady. I worked with Congolese people for 13 years you will not see those women skinning up their behinds up and down on some strange man on the streets.

The Africans see the Caribbean blacks as vulgar and immoral with how they conduct themselves. They don't really want to be associated with these folks. Meanwhile the Indians from India see Caribbean Indians in a similar manner.

The carib like the anti-koolie squad that now rules over our East Indian Brothers and Sisters of Guyana have the core belief that the Koolie is an inferior subhuman being. The koolie in their minds are just chitagongs. Subhumans at the level of excitement. That is why it is important for every East Indian Brother and sister of Guyana to guard against being fooled by the photo op.

Hmmm. Let us compare Liberia, Ivory Coast and Sierra Leone with any Caribbean country. Disemboweling pregnant women and slashing the arms of children aren't activities that occur in the Caribbean. Nor do we insist that women undergo clitorectomy in order to be deprived of the right to have sexual pleasure.  Nor does the (wink wink) slavery which still exists in Africa occur in the Caribbean.  Nor do we kill women simply because they want an education.

And I will make similar claims of India with their honor killings, child slavery, wife burning, and other barbaric customs which aren't a feature of life in the Caribbean, at least to the same degree.

Prashad can flee back to his 19th C India if he wishes. I suggest that most Afro and Indo Caribbean people are much better off than their counterparts in their ancestral "homelands".  I remember when Panday (the T&T PM) found his ancestors they were begging him to take them to T&T.
