Ghana is like the Brazil of Africa - talented, skillful and scintillating players. They play in he professional leagues in Europe.

Do your homework on them and you will see that they can beat anybody in the world - Brazil or Germany included - on any given night.

I'm rooting for the USA but I have to pat cognizance to the skills of Assamoah, Gyan, Boetang, and the Ayew brothers among a slew of exciting footballers.

I have Germany and Ghana to get out of this group, but I would also be happy to see Germany and the USA advance. Portugal will always disappoint, not even more so with Renaldo playing at half-strength.

The US has a shot now of going through to the knockout round. Ghana's weakness is their penchant for shooting from 35 - 40 yds out. They are skillful but did not play with cohesion tonight. The US defense may have something to do with that.
